Have the venue and the vision but need someone to make it all come together?

Shining Starrs Events can help create your event's overall look through theme development, color palettes, focal areas, children's tables, signage, centerpieces, favor displays, activity areas, and other decorative details.

Event-specific decor, specialty items, and rentals may be quoted separately depending on your vision.

🧸 Event Childcare

Let the grown-ups enjoy the celebration while the little Starrs have fun, too!

Event childcare provides a designated, supervised space for children during eligible weddings, showers, celebrations, family gatherings, corporate events, and other special occasions.

Childcare availability and staffing are determined by the number and ages of children, event length, location, and care needs.

For the family that has the celebration handled but wants someone else to make it CUTE. 💜

• Event setup and breakdown

🌟 Ultimate Starr Experience

Our full kid-centered experience combining style, fun, and care.

Includes everything in the Shining Starr package, PLUS:

• Styled activity or craft station
• Additional personalized theme details
• Up to 2 hours of event childcare*

*Event childcare is subject to availability and appropriate staffing based on the number and ages of children. Additional caregivers or childcare hours may require an additional fee.

Your event is officially reserved once all required booking steps and payments are completed.

We'll bring the agreed-upon Shining Starrs magic so you can focus on making memories.

Event FAQs

Do you provide the venue?

Not at this time. Clients are responsible for securing their event venue unless otherwise agreed upon.

Are decorations included in the package price?

Each package includes the styling services and features listed above. Event-specific materials, specialty decor, rentals, custom items, and upgrades may carry additional costs. Your quote will clearly explain what is included before you book.

Can I choose my own theme?

Absolutely! We want your celebration to reflect your little Starr. Share your theme, colors, interests, or inspiration photos with us during the inquiry process.

Can I book event childcare without an event styling package?

Event childcare may be available as a standalone service through Shining Starrs Mobile Childcare. Staffing and pricing depend on the number and ages of children, event duration, location, and care needs.

How far in advance should I inquire?

We recommend reaching out as early as possible, especially for weekend events. Availability is not guaranteed until your event has been officially booked.

What areas do you serve?

Shining Starrs Events serves Durham and surrounding Triangle-area communities. Travel fees may apply depending on the event location.

Do you plan the entire event?

Our current focus is children's events, event styling, and event childcare rather than full-service event coordination. We'll clearly outline what Shining Starrs is responsible for in your event proposal.

Booking & Payment

A 40% nonrefundable retainer is required to reserve your event date. The remaining event balance is due 7 days before your scheduled event.

Event-specific materials, custom items, specialty decor, and rentals may require additional payment before items are ordered or reserved.

Your event date is not secured until your booking agreement is completed and the required retainer has been received.

Additional booking, cancellation, rescheduling, and event policies will be provided with your event agreement.
